Overnight travel is sometimes required for territory activities, sales meetings, conferences, or out-of-territory support.
- The role is focused on accelerating the adoption and expansion of the Medtronic GI portfolio of products. The main clinical call points included but are not limited to gastroenterologists, general, colorectal, and thoracic surgeons, interventional radiologists.
- The Account Manager, GI, role reports into the Regional Sales Manager, and is supported by a clinical specialist.
- The AM, GI, is responsible for finding, negotiating, and closing opportunities that support the financial obligations of the region.
- The AM, GI is responsible for building and reporting their sales pipeline to generate durable sales growth in their respective region.
- The AM, GI, may have opportunities to help train and on-board new hires into the business as appropriate.

The AM, GI, will collaborate with cross-business colleagues to support and drive regional initiatives.

The AM, GI will periodically attend national or international conferences, meetings, other events to promote and support the GI division of products.

The AM, GI will maintain GPO/SSO contract awareness in their region, and action these contracts as required.

The AM, GI, will support marketing leaders and other cross-functional teams in effort to complete and submit RFPs as best as possible.

Capital sales experience is an asset

**Must Have: Minimum Requirements
- Bachelors degree required
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
- French is an asset
