Title: Kitchen Staff

Reports to: Director, Child Care

Position Status: Hourly

**Salary**: Hourly $17.00-$19.00/hr.

This job might be for you if:
You’re good at/you have experience with:

- Ability to plan, prepare and provide well balanced and nutritious meals and snacks which meet the needs of children and other

agency food services in an organized and hygienic setting, within food budget guidelines.
- Ability to cook for large groups in an organized and timely manner.
- Actively participate in Association initiatives involving campaigns, fundraising programs and other educational and promotional

initiatives
- Work both independently and collaboratively with center administration, co
- workers, families and other participating

members and partners.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding issues with staff / Volunteers and program participants
- Demonstrate and promote a personal understanding of, and appreciation for the mission, vision and values of the YMCA
- Current Standard First Aid and CPR Certification
- Food Handlers Course
- A current criminal reference and child abuse registry check must be provided.
- Experience working with Children ages 3 months to 5 years of ages

Child Abuse Registry Check, and proof of valid Food Handlers Certification. Employees will be required to attend YMCA Child

Protection Training.
