Outside Sales Representative

M.T.L. Transport, a growing asset-based carrier in Montreal, seeks an experienced sales representative in the Toronto area.
- have good written and verbal communication skills
- an existing book of clients to bring to with them with established volumes
- be experienced in freight transportation, specifically truck transport (LTL and truckload)
- have knowledge of rates and methods of rating
- have a vehicle
- have a means of completing work in a remote office or while mobile
- be able to source their own leads, follow up, and guide the customer from lead to client
- knowledge of 3rd party logistics and freight brokering, where required
- have command of the English language (read, write, speak)
- have ability in French (read, write, speak) to some extent
- possess presentation skills
- be customer-service oriented
- be team oriented
- not have a criminal record as a background check will be conducted
- not have substance abuse problems (drugs or alcohol)
- be a Canadian citizen, living in Canada
- be legally entitled to work in Canada
- be able to report on business on a regular basis
- have a valid driver's license

**Salary**: $75,000.00-$153,692.55 per year
