**Responsibilities**:
- Conduct preliminary site suitability analysis to identify potential wind farm sites by studying wind resource data using specialized software (proficiency in WindPRO or Vortex a big plus).
- Collect and analyze data to map the long-term wind resource potential at project sites.
- Utilize wind flow modelling software to simulate wind patterns and evaluate the performance of potential wind turbine layouts.
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations detailing the findings of site assessments.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in meteorology, atmospheric science, engineering, or related field.
- Proficiency in data analysis and modelling software, such as WindPRO or Vortex.
- Solid knowledge of wind energy resource assessment.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Ability to convey technical information clearly and effectively.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
