**Position Overview**:
We are currently looking for a responsible, dependable, and safe Yard Labourer at the Rolling Mix Concrete Edmonton. This position is primarily responsible for basic maintenance, support, and labour at the plant facility.

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform general labour throughout the plant.
- Perform basic maintenance on plant equipment.
- Assist plant manager with needed tasks and operations.
- Dump ice and other materials into concrete mixtures.
- Transportation of materials and product.
- General housekeeping and yard work.
- Participate in and adhere to all safety protocols, polices, and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**:

- Valid class 5 drivers license and clean drivers abstract.
- General construction experience.
- Basic mechanical ability to perform maintenance repairs.
- CSTS Certification is preferred.
- WHIMIS training is preferred.

**Work Environment & Hours of Work**:

- This position is physical in nature and requires bending, crawling, crouching, and standing for long periods of time.
- Materials are heavy and cumbersome, must be able to lift 50 lbs on a regular basis.
- Work will be 5 days a week, Monday through Saturday, with days off on a rotating schedule. Overtime will be required at times to meet production demands.

Applicants will be required to undergo a pre-employment drug, alcohol, and fit for work testing as a condition of employment.
