Our Canadian Operating companies are Westcan Bulk Transport, RTL Construction, Les Distributions Carl Beaulac, and Fisher Transport – KAG Canada Westcan is currently seeking a Yard Labourer to join our team, with a focus on Loading trucks and yard maintenance. This is a Seasonal position working Monday to Friday 8 hours per day.About the position: •Loading and unloading salt trucks•Weighing in and out salt trucks•Entering the salt order into the system•Snow removal from the yard using a front end loader and shovel•Yard maintenance•Various other yard dutiesWhat you bring: •Class 1 license is an asset•Computer skills •Previous experience in a similar role and capacity to perform manual labour •Mechanically inclined •Safety conscious approach to all job duties •Ability to work independently with minimal supervision•Reliable transportation to work Total Compensation:•Competitive wages, company matched RRSP/DPSP savings program, bonus opportunity, scholarships program for employee’s children and referral reward payments up to $2,000 available per successful hire (certain conditions apply) We have a strong culture of teamwork, with a balance of seriousness and fun.
