- Facilitate sound decision making by prioritizing work, equipment reliability, and accurate time and resource estimates
- Develop and prepare work packages and maintenance plans for Electrical jobs within Bar Mill
- Coordinate with all discipline Planner’s and specialists for the planning of all related work orders that are within the scope of the area assigned
- Define the correct levels of inventory for spares and consumables in coordination with stores
- Input and continuous improvement of the maintenance, planning, scheduling and data integrity processes and standards
- Report scheduling and planning activities
- Supports emergency situations by providing planning and troubleshooting assistance to the supervisors and trades as needed
- Monitor the proper use of the PM module by individuals and provide the feedback to the supervisors and superintendents for taking proper actions
- Coordinate, manage and supervise contractors
- Develop maintenance and project budgets and estimates
- Include a high level of safety into the planning and execution process, including but not limited to JSAs (Job Safety Analysis)
- Lead and participate in various planning and scheduling meetings

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- Journeyperson Electrician Certification, Electrical Technologist Diploma or equivalent
- 3 + years of experience in Electrical Planning
- 3 + years of extensive experience installing and maintaining electrical systems
- Knowledge of and experience working with a CMMS program
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience working as a maintenance planner an asset
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, Vizio, and Adobe Acrobat
- Ability to prioritize jobs and tasks efficiently
- Excellent organization
- Experience with overhead cranes an asset
- Experience maintaining and installing 120V, 240V, 480V and 4160V electrical systems
- Experience with 250V DC systems an asset
- Experience with VFDs, PLCs, and MCCs
- Experience with contactors, solenoids, transducers, limits, proximity switches etc.
- Ability to interpret and edit electrical drawings
- High voltage power system maintenance
- Instrumentation experiences an asset
- Electrical system commissioning
- Experience installing and maintaining both AC and DC electric motors
- Network and fire alarm experience an asset
