We are a small, close-knit team looking to hire **front counter representatives** at our Hamilton (Mount Hope) location. Greenhorizons / Big Yellow Bag offers high quality soil, mulch, seed, and fertilizer products available for pick up for landscapers and retail customers. We take pride in providing excellent service and quality product.

General Responsibilities:

- Greet and welcome customers
- Enter customer orders into our database and process transactions
- Sharing product knowledge with customers
- Address customer’s needs, complaints, or other issues with products or services in a professional and friendly manner
- Maintaining our front counter space
- Perform other general tasks as assigned
- Strive for 100% customer satisfaction

**Requirements**:

- Prior experience in customer service as a front desk representative, or relevant position
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Office)
- Excellent communication, written and people skills
- Good multitasking, time management and organizational skills
- Customer oriented and professional attitude

Your job will be to maintain the Greenhorizons / BigYellowBag experience that our customers have come to expect and love

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal
Part-time hours: 35 per week

**Salary**: $16.00-$17.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Mount Hope, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Customer service: 1 year (required)
