**Sardis Health Foods**

We’re Chilliwack’s trusted local health food store, helping customers make educated choices for all their natural, health related needs.

We provide a huge range of products such as natural groceries, vitamins & minerals, supplements and herbal products, beauty and body care products, homeopathics, aromatherapy, and environmentally friendly household cleaners.

We have two staff members who are certified Registered Nutritional Practitioners, several who have completed various health programs, and we’re constantly upgrading our product knowledge through workshops, seminars and general research. All our staff are not only qualified but passionate about health and nutrition. If you are too, you’ll fit right in.

**Working at Sardis Health Food**

At Sardis, we’re a team. Everyone pitches in, doing the full range of work to keep the store running:

- Advising customers about healthy products
- Stocking shelves with new arrivals
- Completing purchase orders
- Running the cash register
- Keeping the store shiny and clean

You’ll be awesome at this role if you like working with people, and if you are highly responsive to what’s going on around you. You “read” the store floor, seeing quickly what needs to be done to keep the whole thing in top shape.

You’ll also love this role if you’re curious and want to learn more and more about health and health products. We’re looking for someone who wants to stick around for the long-term, who wants to expand their knowledge of products, and become expert in how to help people achieve their health goals. If that sounds like you, this role also has opportunity to learn and grow with the business, including management opportunities.

**The Details**

This is a fulltime position - with a fixed schedule working 4-5 days per week. We also cover for each other to make it simple to book vacation.

Hourly wage starts at $18/hr with flexibility for experienced people. We have various staff discounts and health and wellness perks; we want you to live a health, full life - both at work and outside of work

**Qualifications**

Above all, you need an enthusiasm for health, and desire to serve customers. In addition, these qualifications will help you stand out.
- Any experience with or specialized knowledge of health products
- Any experience working in retail, health foods stores, or customer service
