**Position Summary**

Reporting to the Support Service Supervisor at Mon Sheong Scarborough Long Term Care Centre, the incumbent must maintain a comfortable, safe, and aesthetic environment for the residents, staff and visitors.

**Main Duties**

  • Maintain data files with new entries and modifications;
  • Check and update all inventory items;
  • Assist with receiving deliveries;
  • Label, fold, and deliver laundry;
  • Groom and nurture plants;
  • Help with deep cleaning of the workplace which includes dining room tables and chairs;
  • Other duties as may be assigned.

**Qualifications**

  • Currently enrolled in post-secondary education;
  • Working experience in a Senior Home an asset;
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Bilingual in English and Chinese is preferred.

**Other Requirements**

  • be between 15 and 30 years of age at the start of the employment;
  • be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person to whom refugee protection has been conferred under _the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act*_ for the duration of the employment and;
  • have a valid Social Insurance Number at the start of employment and be legally entitled to work in Canada in accordance with relevant provincial or territorial legislation and regulations.
