**COMPANY**: Urban Life Pools & Hot Tubs is a fast-growing Steinbach company and we are looking to become the #1 hot tub company in Manitoba. We'd love to have you along for the ride. Every day we get a chance to make people happy and bring joy to families in their backyards.

**POSITION TYPE: FULL TIME** - Monday to Friday. No overtime or weekends are required, but if you are a go-getter and want to take on extra during peak times, we can likely do that so we can all win together.

**WHO THIS IS FOR**: If you enjoy working with your hands and love to learn how things work, we may have the job for you repairing hot tubs and swim spas.

In the past, we've had people burnt out by the automotive repair industry do well here.

It doesn't matter if you have experience in the hot tub or pool industry. We can train for whatever skills you need, as long as the desire is there.

**You might be a good fit if you**
- Enjoy a variety of tasks, not just the same thing all day long
- Are friendly and can explain things to people with compassion and patience
- Enjoy taking things apart, seeing how they work and putting them back together again
- Like to work with your hands and are able to troubleshoot problems
- Get satisfaction from starting something and seeing it through to the end - you can end the day feeling accomplished and like you made a difference that day
- Want to start and get home at a reasonable time (we are a family-friendly company)
- Have some experience working with hand tools and power tools
- Have come basic computer skills - you won't be spending hours doing paperwork or anything, but being able to use a computer and type is a must
- Are ambitious and want to be above average
- If you want to excel and earn more, we will coach you to make it happen

**THE JOB**

If you want to be part of the team, here's what your days will look like
- Going to service calls and diagnosing and fixing hot tub heating, plumbing and mechanical problems
- Giving customers repair options to choose from so you can solve their issue quickly and to their satisfaction
- Fixing plumbing leaks
- Replacing broken components on hot tubs
- Explaining the value of the work you're doing to customers and suggesting other repairs or products they might need
- Doing regular service and maintenance jobs like winterizing hot tubs and draining and refilling
- Delivering hot tubs with our delivery team when required
- Helping unload truckload deliveries at the store
- Doing weekly maintenance on our customers' hot tubs

We will provide training, but a lot of learning will be on the job.

A lot of the work will be outdoors in all weather conditions and requires lifting.

It's not always easy work, but it feels good at the end of the day knowing you made people's lives better.
