Duties include: changing beds, cleaning bathrooms, scrubbing floors, vacuuming, dusting. From time to time there will be housecleaning performed which will include scrubbing walls and ceilings. Additional duties include public areas and laundry.

Reliability is key as the hotel is very busy at present.

Must have own transport as the hours do not run concurrent with the bus schedule and bus stop is 3 km away from hotel.

Hours are dependent on occupancy. This means if the hotel is running with only 30 rooms sold we will require less housekeepers on the floor than if the hotel is running at 50 rooms per night.

Housekeepers start at 8 am. Finish time varies daily: 3 pm - 6:30 pm depending on how busy the hotel is and how many staff are on the floor working.

Willingness to work breakfast shifts is definately an asset. The breakfast server reports to work at 5:45 am, joins housekeeping after clean up and may leave earlier than staff that report for work at 8 am.

Pay: starting above minimum wage.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $15.50 per hour

Expected hours: 24 - 40 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift

**Experience**:

- First-Line Managers: 1 year (preferred)

Work Location: In person
