The main purpose of the **Shipping Clerk** is to pack orders and to prepare boxes for shipments and assist in organizing the warehouse.

**Schedule**:Monday-Friday 9:30am-6:00pm
**Starting salary**:$19.25/hr

**Responsabilities & duties**:
Pick/Pack Orders
- Verify the products against sale orders before packing
- Pick/Pack all regular, wholesalers’ orders and BC transfers
- Pick/Pack the dangerous goods and refrigerate products

Ship Packages
- Enter invoice information into UPS/Fedex software
- Inspect package, make sure all information is correct
- Follow proper shipping procedure for Hazardous Materials

Invoice Orders
- Change status and tracking number of shipped packages in Syspro

Miscellaneous Tasks
- Clean the shelves and bottles
- Assist in the organization of warehouse; place chemicals, devices, materials, etc.
- Perform physical inventory for shipping packaging materials

**Qualifications**:

- High School Diploma required.
- Minimum one (1) year experience in shipping. Experience in pharmaceutical or regulated environment is an asset.
- Forklift certified is considered an asset.
- Knowledge of packing/handling dangerous goods is considered an asset.
- Knowledge using hand held scanners an asset.
- Attention to detail is necessary.
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.
- A positive attitude with the ability to work in a team.
- Excellent communication skills in French (oral & written) required.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) required; Syspro is an asset.
