POSITION: Team Leader

WHAT YOU NEED **(QUALIFICATIONS)**:

- Maintain a current Standard First Aid and CPR level C
- Must possess a minimum of 2 years’ study in Rehabilitation Studies or a Diploma/Degree in a related discipline
- 3-5 years experience working with persons with disabilities
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in administration and supervision of a 7-10 member team.
- Maintain a Class 5 Drivers License and $1,000,000 liability insurance.
- Provide and maintain a clear Child Intervention Check and clear Criminal Record Check

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING? **(JOB DUTIES)**:

- Training and coaching the team.
- Use a wholistic approach to provide care, activities and intentional programming both in the home and the community that focus on enhanced quality of life for individuals with disabilities.
- Providing front line care.
- Administration and day-to-day operation of an URSA site.
- Ensure that individuals are engaged in community and recreational activities to the greatest extent possible.
- Administer medication and address individual health concerns ensuring proper procedures are followed.
- Provide personal care including but not limited to bathing, toileting, catheter care, changing, grooming, feeding and dressing.
- Complete documentation and communicate effectively with the team.
- Assist with household tasks, light housekeeping and household maintenance.

Flexibility is required as positions include daytime and evening availability.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $25.00 per hour

**Experience**:

- Disability Rehabilitation Worker: 3 years (preferred)
- Supervisory: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driver's license (preferred)

Work Location: In person
