Memorial Medical Clinic Ltd. operates two family practice medical clinics in Winnipeg MB.

Memorial Medical Clinic is located at 595 Broadway and St. Vital Family Medical Clinic is located at 1087 St. Mary’s Road.

Our team consists of 6 Physicians and 6 Medical Office Assistants.

Work Location: In-Person
- Office location will be at 595 Broadway location but ability to drive to 1087 St. Mary’s Road location will be required on a regular basis

**Position Summary**

We are looking for a Clinic Manager who will oversee the daily operations of both clinics, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning:

- They will directly manage the Medical Office Assistant (MOA) team including hiring, training, scheduling, and evaluation of performance.
- They will develop, implement, and enforce policies, procedures, standard workflows, and training guides to maintain high-quality patient care and compliance with regulatory standards.
- They will maintain relationships with physicians in order to facilitate the needs of individual practices.

**Responsibilities**

Management of Medical Office Assistant (MOA) Team:

- Coordinate training for new MOA staff
- Conduct and manage performance evaluation process
- Directly respond to concerns of staff
- Provide feedback to staff team including discipline where necessary
- Implement staff schedules and policies around staff schedule to maximize team efficiency
- Manage MOA payroll and payroll budget
- Manage MOA vacation and time-off requests
- Fill in as a “Relief MOA” during staff shortages
- Create a positive, collaborative work environment
- Conduct daily check-ins with MOA team to ensure consistent communication and support

**Management of Clinic Policies and Procedures**
- Update and enforce clinic policies, procedures, and best practices
- Create and implement a training checklist on clinic procedures and practice-specific procedures
- Maintain community relations through maintenance and updates on clinic website, Medimap profile, google profile, and social media.

**Management of Clinic Operations**
- Oversee use of EMR and related apps, phone system, online bookings, and any other system used to support day-to-day clinic operations
- Monitor and evaluate clinic performance metrics, such as patient satisfaction, wait times, and productivity
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in clinic management
- Assist with practice specific requests from physicians to improve practice efficiency.
- Directly respond to complaints or concerns from patients and all staff including physicians.

**Reporting**
- The clinic manager will report to the Director of Operations and Clinic Ownership
- Complete and submit weekly clinic reports to Director of Operations and Clinic Ownership
- Attend clinic operations meetings with Director of Operations and Clinic Ownership once every 2 months

**Position Qualifications**
- Experience working in a medical clinic as an MOA
- Experience using Accuro EMR
- Experience managing individuals in a work or team environment
- Excellent leadership and presentation skills
- Ability to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships
- Knowledge of best practices associated with Human Resources
- Ability to tolerate stress and respond calmly to challenging interactions that occur in management roles
- High initiative to innovate positive changes through evolving policies, procedures, and best practices
- Exhibits leadership by example through being dependable, reliable, and responsible.

**Salary**: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 - 40 per week
