Munroe Medical is seeking a motivated Clinical Assistant to join our healthcare team. As a Clinical Assistant, you will work closely with medical professionals to provide exceptional patient care, support clinical operations, and assist in a variety of administrative tasks.
**Qualifications and Skills**:
- Completion of a recognized Physician Assistant program.
- Registered as a Clinical Assistant with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Manitoba.
- Demonstrates a high level of accuracy.
- Must be able to Muti-task and function in a high paced environment.
- Ability to work independently as well as team members.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience using an Accuro EMR.
- Demonstrated commitment to providing outstanding service to patients and families.
**Responsibilities & Duties**:
- Conduct patient assessments, take medical histories, and perform physical exams.
- Diagnose and treat common medical conditions, illnesses, and injuries.
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with physicians.
- Provide patient education on health management.
- Assist Physicians perform minor procedures as needed (e.g., suturing, wound care or minor procedure).
- Maintain standard practice recordings of all patient encounters, utilizing electronic medical records where available.
**Schedule**
- 8 hour shift
- Saturday - Wednesday
- Must be available on holidays when needed.
Expected start date: As soon as possible.
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
