Our Community Support Services (CSS) team provides essential services that enable our clients to thrive. Whether their disability is physical, the result of brain injury, or aging, our more than 2,000 team members assist clients in their homes and across communities, to live as independently as possible.

**This Opportunity**

We are currently looking to fill **2 Part-Time Personal Support Worker (PSW)** roles in our **Outreach Attendant Services Program** in **Chatham-Kent**.

This role offers a **flexible schedule**, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- **Starting wage**: $18.88/hour
- Includes **paid travel time and mileage**:

- Eligible for the **$3.00/hour temporary wage enhancement** from the Ontario government for hours spent directly supporting clients

**Key Responsibilities**:
As a PSW, you will assist individuals in their own homes with **non-medical daily living activities** in alignment with individual service plans and March of Dimes Canada’s policies and procedures, including:

- Personal care (e.g., hygiene, grooming)
- Lifts and transfers
- Morning and evening routines (rising/retiring)
- Bowel and bladder support
- Meal preparation and feeding
- Range of motion exercises
- Light housekeeping duties
- Maintaining a respectful and professional approach that upholds the dignity, privacy, and safety of both clients and staff
- Working a variety of shifts including weekdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays as part of a 24-hour care service model

**Background / Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current Standard First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Experience working with individuals with physical disabilities, older adults, or as an informal caregiver (considered an asset)
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Completion of a **Physical Demands Self-Analysis** required upon hire
- Availability to work flexible and regularly scheduled hours
- **Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation - REQUIRED**
