**Position Location**: Preference for working from the JHSS Regina office, but professionals located within Saskatchewan will be considered. Travel will be required as part of this position, at times last-minute or extended.

**Program Background**:
HOMEBASE is an Integrated Youth Services (IYS) model of care. IYS is a global movement, aimed at transforming how youth, young people and their families find and access the resources, services and supports they need. Saskatchewan’s model will be branded and purpose-built to fit the requirements and needs of our province and will aim to reduce existing barriers to accessing needed services, such as but not limited to mental health, primary health, cultural and social services.

HOMEBASE will support youth aged 12-25, in reaching their full potential by integrating and co-locating a range of youth-targeted services and supports, using a stepped-care approach. Initial funding will support the development and operation of four HOMEBASE Youth hubs in communities across the province. HOMEBASE Youth hubs will offer a one-stop centre in the community, providing rapid access to quality, evidence-based, integrated, culturally safe, youth-targeted services and supports, with a focus on prevention and early intervention.

HOMEBASE offers a range of core services that include, but are not limited to, the following key supports:

- mental health and addiction services;
- physical health services;
- education, employment, and training supports;
- social and community services;
- youth and family peer support;
- tradition and cultural supports;
- Other services as identified by community need.

The John Howard Society of Saskatchewan has been selected to lead Integrated Youth Services (IYS) as the Backbone organization in Saskatchewan. The Backbone organization is responsible for implementing a consistent and comprehensive provincial IYS model, as well as establishing and fostering collective and strategic partnerships. It provides leadership, provincial direction, and ongoing support for long-term operation of four physical IYS sites in Saskatchewan, in addition to virtual services.

The Backbone organization is committed and responsible for developing and sustaining a Learning Health System within IYS. This includes embedding continuous quality improvement, data-informed decision-making, and collaborative evaluation processes to ensure services remain responsive to youth needs, culturally grounded, and equity-driven.

Job Summary: The John Howard Society of Saskatchewan is seeking an experienced Data Analyst to join our IYS Backbone Team. As a member of the Backbone Team, the Data Analyst will support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of data systems and evaluation strategies across Saskatchewan’s IYS network. The Data Analyst will work collaboratively with community partners, researchers, and the IYS Backbone Team to support data-driven decision-making and service enhancement through a learning health system approach. This will be working alongside youth, caregivers, and service providers to support continuous service improvement by analyzing data to inform decision-making, optimize care delivery, and evaluate services and supports. This includes, but is not limited to, gathering, cleaning, and validating the data to ensure accuracy and reliability. The Data Analyst will be responsible for using advanced computerized models to extract and analyze data, cleaning and validating datasets, and performing multi-stage analysis to assess data quality, derive insights, and inform strategic decisions. The analyst will prepare comprehensive reports based on findings and contribute to continuous improvement efforts across the IYS network in real time.

Duties**:
Reporting to the Director of IYS and working closely with IYS Backbone Team, the responsibilities of this position will include the following:

- Maintain and enhance provincial IYS databases, ensuring data integrity, privacy, and security.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Youth Hubs and partners.
- Develop and execute data analysis plans using SAS, R, or Stata.
- Analyze health, social, and youth-reported datasets to monitor outcomes and performance indicators.
- Support the Provincial Youth Co-Design Team’s Data Working Group.
- Support research partnerships with academic institutions and Indigenous organizations.
- Translate complex data into accessible insights for diverse stakeholders.
- Support data sovereignty practices, including consent, sharing, and usage agreements.
