Here's how a Business Systems Analyst for our Edmonton NAHQ office contributes to our team:
**Responsibilities**:

- Creates, updates or assists with business process documentation, and incorporate into Training Materials.
- Develops and delivers communications as necessary for projects, enhancements, and support efforts.
- Identifies the need for training, helps plan training activities, creates and updates training materials, and delivers training. Evaluates training results and recommends continuous improvement actions.
- Helps resolve business process-related system issues.
- Elicits and validates business requirements with user representatives and stakeholders (using interviews, surveys, etc.).
- Validates requirements with user representatives and stakeholders.
- Liaises with business technology and support teams to ensure system meets business requirements.
- Manages district stakeholders’ meetings.

**Qualifications**:

- Four or more years of experience as a Business Analyst desired. Progressive experience in related fields will be considered. Construction experience and knowledge are an asset.
- A post-secondary degree or diploma in technical communication, business analysis, business administration, computing science, or a related discipline.
- Ability to facilitate training and present to large or small groups.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to be flexible, organized, and maintain attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of construction project management and organizational change management practices is an asset.
- Highly skilled in the use of Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to perform and thrive in a team environment.
