Camp Counsellor/musical Instruments Specialist

**Supercamp **is a non-profit day camp located in Ville St. Laurent. We welcome about 300 campers and leaders each week, allowing them the opportunity to try new things, discover new passions and develop new skills. Come and join our staff of more than 50 counsellors and specialists
**Main duties as a Musical Instruments Specialist**
Animate groups of children and ensure their safety during the activities. Create and organize different activities and follow the program set forth by the administration of the camp. Prepare and give Musical Instruments lessons to their group, and teach them about different instruments, and how to use them. Prepare daily activities for their group. Collaborate with other counsellors to create group games and activities. Ensure the safety of participants at all times. etc.
**Requirements**:
- Education: _
- Grade 10 (Sec. 4) (16 years old minimum)
- Studying music is considered
- Skills: _
- Ability to work and communicate properly with a team
- Ability to take on leadership roles
- Sense of responsibility and punctuality
- Ability to adapt. Energy and enthusiasm
- Ability to work well with children and parents
- Good communication skills with a demonstrated enthusiasm for working with youth
- General knowledge and interest in different types of musical instruments required
- General knowledge and interest in different types of music considered
- Bilingualism (French/English)
- Non-Scholarly Training: _
- Musical and/or instrumental background required
- Previous camp experience considered
- CIT/DAFA formation considered
- Valid first aid certification.
**Conditions**
- Hours: 40 hours/week
**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract, Seasonal
