Job Summary

T-Brothers Food & Trading Ltd. is seeking a Food Safety Specialist to join our team. The position will be based in Port-Coquitlam, BC. You will be primarily responsible for Food Safety duties for the food production line (Kimchi).

Job Descriptions:

- Participate in compliance with Food Safety, CFIA, and HACCP (if applicable) and ensure food safety and quality are kept
- Discuss with managers to meet food safety and quality, provide additional assistance as requested
- Document reports and assists with all administrative functions associated with this role
- Other duties as assigned
- Confidently produce and modify food safety plans, sanitation plans, and other documentation

Requirements, Skills & Qualifications:
**Qualifications**:

- Legally eligible to work in Canada (must currently live in Canada)
- Completed post-secondary education in Food Sciences or related
- Minimum 2 years of work experience in Food Safety Administration activities
- Strong understanding of food safety expectations for food production operations
- Driver’s license (class 5)
- Must be computer proficient (MS Office, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to communicate in Korean is an asset

Work Setting:

- Monday to Friday 8 am-5 pm
- Interact with all levels of personnel and external inspectors
- Location: #120-1658 Industrial Ave, Port Coquitlam, BC
