**The Opportunity**

Northern Gold Foods is a co-manufacturer of breakfast and snack products for some of the most successful brands in the world. We're looking for a Quality Control Manager to join the team at our facility in Port Coquitlam.

**Quality Control Manager**

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**
- Supervise QC technicians and processing line QA checks.
- Manage and continuously develop our quality management programs such as HACCP, food safety and site standards including sanitation, pest control and environmental monitoring.
- Coordinate and manage third party lab testing, results, reporting and product hold/release.
- Lead and maintain employee training as it relates to food safety and quality.
- Actively participate and lead facility certification audits including GFSI, Organic, Kosher, Allergen and Non-GMO.
- Ensure products are produced in accordance with customer specifications and quality.

**Essential Qualifications**
- Experience in leadership and the communication skills required to effectively manage a diverse team.
- Excellent working knowledge of HACCP and GFSI Food Safety Standards.
- Experience with BRC & AIB audits.
- A university degree in food science or related science field.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and metrics.
