Child & Youth Worker - Ambualtory Mental Health

Summary of Duties
Working with a multi-disciplinary team, the Child & Youth Worker is responsible for implementing a range of prevention, intervention and treatment strategies for Adolescents who have been diagnosed with a major mental illness, and with adult clients for Ambulatory Mental Health Hurvitz Brain Sciences Program
Qualifications/Skills
- Child and Youth Worker diploma/ degree required
- Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Certification required
- Current BCLS required
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and effectively in an interdisciplinary team environment
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in Adult and Adolescent Mental Heath
- Comfortable working alone in the homes of clients affected by Mental Illness
- Skills managing dynamics in a variety of group sessions
