Payroll-accounts Payable Clerk

Reporting to the Controller, the Payroll/Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for processing payroll, employee expenses and intercompany transactions.
What will you do in this role?
Process payroll for 200+ employees and source deductions payments.
Maintain payroll accounts reconciliations.
Assist in maintenance and processing of Corporate credit cards transactions.
Process employee expense reimbursements.
Process inter-company billings and payments.
Maintain inter-company accounts reconciliations.
Process deposits and payment in the accounting system.
Prepare and set-up electronic payments in the online banking system.
Prepare and file GST returns.
Other tasks and special projects as assigned.

Post-secondary education or similar course or training.
Willing and able to learn independently.
Willing and happy to perform repetitive tasks.
Ability to work in fast paced, deadline orientated environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organization, analytical and problem-solving skills with an emphasis on attention to details.
Happy to work in a team environment.
Working knowledge of Excel, word, and Microsoft Outlook.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central would be considered an asset.
