The **Kitchener Waterloo Skating Club (KWSC)** is located in the twin cities of Kitchener-Waterloo, with our home facility at the Carolyn Fedy Skating Centre, RIM Park. With over 3,000 members, KWSC is one of Canada's largest skating clubs. From preschoolers to adults, we have taught thousands to skate through our nationally accredited CanSkate and PowerSkate programs. We also operate competitive programs that have sent singles skaters, dance pairs, freeskate pairs, and synchronized skating teams to compete in the Canadian Championships and international competitions.
**Job Summary**
The **Member Services Coordinator** is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and communication to the members (skaters and their families) of KWSC. This role supports the daily operations of the KWSC office and serves as a key point of contact for staff, coaches, volunteers, and members. This position requires flexibility, attention to detail, and a proactive, team-focused attitude.

- **Schedule**: Must be available for day shifts, evening shifts, and occasional weekends during peak times
- **Location**: In-office at **Kitchener-Waterloo Skating Club,** 2001 University Avenue East, Suite 10, Waterloo, Ontario, N2K 4K4
- **Salary**: $22 - $25/hr
- **Reports To**: Communications and Events Manager
- **Start Date**: Monday June 23, 2025
**Key Responsibilities**
- Serve as a welcoming ambassador for the KW Skating Club
- Foster positive relationships with KWSC customers, athletes, families, coaches, staff, and volunteers
- Manage KWSC's online registration system, ensuring accurate setup and data entry for seasonal events, programs, and products
- Support marketing and events staff during special events (test days, performance days, welcome tables, etc.)
- Assist the Finance Manager with daily accounting tasks (Fee Assist, record keeping, invoice creation)
- Coordinate KWSC volunteers
- Perform general administrative and office support duties as needed
**Qualifications & Skills**
- Minimum 3 years of customer service experience (preferred)
- Proven ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
- Self-motivated with a positive and helpful attitude
- Strong computer skills, including experience with CRM software, Microsoft Office, Google Drive, and Canva
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
- Administrative experience required
- Post-secondary education is an asset
- Familiarity with skating (figure skating and/or hockey) is an asset
