**Job Description**:
PURPOSE & SCOPE:
The Fluid Technician is responsible for ensuring fluids used in various operations are maintained in order to support production requirements. Work must be done in a safe and efficient manner and comply with all Stackpole International’s Health & Safety policies, procedures and quality systems. ____________________________

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Responsible for fluid sample gathering
- Complete fluid concentration monitoring and logging throughout work shift
- Complete fluid top-up, concentration adjustment and corrective action based on analysis
- Perform a fluid quality analysis on required machinery
- Report results of findings to your Supervisor and the Quality department
- Communicate with supplier on a regular bases to resolve issues, shortages, etc.
- Responsible for inventory management and tracking fluid usage
- Complete monthly safety inspections
- Responsible for fluid quality system and manage of system dumps
- Ensure that the requirements of the Quality Management System and Environmental Health & Safety Systems are met.
- Other duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
- Education and/or Experience:_
- High School diploma or equivalent
- CNC equipment and fluid sampling experience is required
- Qualifications:_
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment, specifically automotive, is an asset
- Good interpersonal skills. Able to work well independently or in a team environment
- Good communication skills. Clearly legible handwriting and able to write reports
- Strong work ethic and organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task in a fast pace environment while maintaining quality
- Language Skills:_
- Proficient in English (both spoken and written)
- Work Environment (including Physical Demands):_
- Work indoors. Environment can be noisy and exposed to different temperatures
- Working with fluids on a daily basis
- Lifting required. No more than 50lbs and assistance is available.
- Work shifts may include days, afternoons, nights or continental
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
- Able to work overtime when required/requested
