**Responsibilities**:
OVERALL PURPOSE

The Stores Coordinator is responsible for:
Controlling the flow of documents through Stores.

Entering data for Stores (EAM, Excel, Word).

Addressing and distributing direct material items in a timely manner to recipients.

Processing asset disposal requests as directed by the Stores Supervisor.

Maintaining bin locations in EAM.

Updating and advising staff on scheduling under the guidance of the Senior Stores Keeper.

Assisting in the callout for overtime shifts.

Guiding coordination of 3rd party carriers for shipping/pickup of parts and disposal/recycling by determining timing and frequency of deliveries.

Guiding the maintenance departments to organize items in preparation for pick up and organizing the pickup.

Unreceiving/receiving work orders/purchase orders to enable buyers to adjust costing.

Creating and distributing parts to be cycle counted and inputting results.

Performing inventory adjustments under the direction of the Senior Storesperson and Stores Supervisor.

**Qualifications**:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Requires Grade 12 graduation, plus clerical and typing courses and courses in Microsoft Office. Experience using a personal computer and Microsoft software.

12 months of clerical experience with sound knowledge of warehousing, shipping, receiving and inventory control functions; working knowledge of hand and light industrial tools; with demonstrated ability to organize and work in a multi-task environment with mínimal supervision. Plus, up to 6 months in the job to become familiar with tools, uniforms and WHMIS responsibilities and the computer software used in the position.

Recruitment Process: An applicant will be required to demonstrate their suitability for this position by meeting the minimum level of qualifications and experience in order to be invited into the selection process. A standard interview format will be used including general, scenario and behavioural descriptive interview questions.

**Work Schedule**:
40 hours per week.

**Rate of Pay**:
Wage: $39.51 per hour
