**Position Summary**
**What You Will Do**:
- Preparing legal documents, notices, and various forms of correspondence, including contract drafting and proofreading.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts and agreements, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
- Tracking and managing invoices and payments related to legal expenses.
- Assisting in reporting and budgeting for legal expenses.
- Conducting research on regulations, laws, and legal articles to support the preparation of reports and case files.
- Maintaining organized case files, calendars, and deadlines.
- Assisting with procurement reviews and vendor validation processes.
- Attending meetings and taking meticulous notes.
- Assisting in the collection of legal and factual documents.
- Handling administrative tasks such as photocopying, scanning, and document binding.
- Attending organizational and departmental meetings as required.
- Collaborating and communicating with other departments under the guidance of the Chief Administrative Officer.
- Undertaking any other ad hoc duties assigned by the Chief Administrative Officer.
**What You Will Bring**:
- A College Diploma or Degree in paralegal studies, a paralegal certificate, or a Legal Office Assistant program.
- 3 years of experience in contract management and legal roles.
- Strong knowledge of contract law, business law, and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Excellent negotiation, drafting, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage a team and work collaboratively with cross-functional departments.
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Strong self-reliance, excellent workload management, and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency in legal research and contract management software/tools.
- A proven track record of handling confidential information with discretion.
- Good judgment, proactive work ethic, and well-developed interpersonal skills.
