Warehouse Supervisor

The **Warehouse Supervisor **oversees the day-to-day warehouse process and operations while leading 5 warehouse employees. This is a hands-on supervisor role responsible for planning and scheduling to ensure prompt shipment and receipt of orders. Handles completion and verification of loads before the shipping date, frequently updates the appointment schedule, compiles, and maintains records of quantity and types of products stocked in the warehouse. This role ensures efficient and economical utilization of facilities for storing and distributing products for our Automotive and Pool divisions. This is an ideal position for a highly autonomous and self-directed warehouse leader.

**PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Provides supervisory direction for the warehouse personnel and manages staff performance, training, and discipline as needed.
- Processes returns, Schedules Shipping and Receiving (SAP/E1), Stock transfers (SAP/E1) and oversees assembly of pool & spa kits
- Conducts Health and Safety meetings and training as needed
- Plans, builds, and optimizes LTL loads for outbound shipping
- Maintains a continuous watch for orders throughout the shift
- Arranging pickups with carriers
- Manages accurate inventories to meet demands by ensuring all warehoused related entries are entered into the system.
- Progressively pursues on time shipment.
- Maintains knowledge of and compliance with applicable government regulations. Implements and trains proper safety & shipping procedures and guidelines
- Ensures proper usage of and at times may conduct palletizer operation and/or driving forklift to stage/ship loads and repack.
- Continue to maintain and improve upon the daily functions of the warehouse.
- Ensures all required paperwork and data is entered into SAP and daily reports before end of day.
- Must be self-motivated with critical thinking and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to lead and direct employees in a supervisory manner.

**Qualifications and Requirements**
- Must have at least (5) five years as a warehouse supervisor
- Must have experience driving/operating a forklift
- Must have excellent English oral and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with EPA Border legislation
- Transportation of Dangerous Goods Certification a plus
