Mye Japanese Restaurant, an Oakville staple for over 34 years is looking to expand the team A great opportunity to learn why Mye is known as one of the best Japanese restaurants in the GTA and why most of our chefs stay with us for a very long time.
Must have previous kitchen & cooking experience. Preferably in a Japanese or other Asian cuisine oriented kitchen. Must be able to handle a fast paced environment and work well with others. Looking for a long-term employee. You will be mainly responsible for deep frying, making tempura and preparing select appetizers (along with the usual prep and cleaning). After the probational period, wage or salary can be negotiated depending on ability and the amount of responsibilities you can handle. We also tip out to the kitchen A LOT more than other restaurants (40% of daily tips are shared among the chefs). Ability to speak Mandarin is a huge asset Your expected work days are Wednesday - Sunday for Lunch and Dinner shifts.

**Salary**: From $20.00 per hour
