**Role Profile: Medical Aesthetician**

**Core Responsibilities**:
**Client Consultations**:

- Assess clients’ skin concerns and aesthetic goals.
- Educate clients on skincare routines, products, and procedures.
- Create tailored treatment plans to meet clients' needs.
- **Performing Non-Invasive Treatments**:

- Administer treatments such as DF treatments, chemical peels and microneedling.
- Provide facials, exfoliations, and hydrating treatments based on skin type and conditions.
- **Assisting with Medical Procedures**:

- Assist physicians and nurses in mínimally invasive procedures like Botox and dermal fillers.
- Prepare clients for treatments, including cleansing and prepping the skin.
- **Product and Equipment Management**:

- Maintain and sterilize equipment, ensuring compliance with health and safety protocols.
- Recommend and sell skincare products to clients for home use.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest skincare products and technology in the industry.
- **Patient Care and Post-Treatment Support**:

- Provide clients with post-treatment care instructions to maximize benefits and ensure safe recovery.
- Monitor clients’ progress through follow-up appointments.
- **Documentation and Administrative Tasks**:

- Record and update clients' treatment histories and progress notes.
- Take before and after photos.
- Schedule appointments and manage client records securely.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**: Diploma or certificate in aesthetics, cosmetology, or related field; advanced certifications in medical esthetics preferred.
- **Licensing**: Licensed as an aesthetician; specialized training in medical aesthetic procedures.
- **Certifications**: Additional certifications in laser therapy, chemical peels, or microneedling may be required or preferred.

**Skills and Attributes**:

- **Skincare Knowledge**: In-depth understanding of skin biology, skincare ingredients, and treatment options.
- **Technical Proficiency**: Skilled in using medical-grade equipment, understanding skin analysis, and performing advanced treatments.
- **Client Care and Empathy**: Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to listen to clients’ needs and provide empathetic care.
- **Detail-Oriented**: Precision in handling treatments and patient documentation.
- **Sales and Communication**: Ability to recommend products and educate clients on their benefits effectively.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Internship / Co-op

Pay: From $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
