General Manager, Richmond Location - Hồng Phát Hồng Phát is seeking an experienced and passionate General Manager to lead our new Richmond restaurant Established in Saigon in 1975, we expanded to Canada (Vancouver) in 2022 and are now excited to bring our authentic “Saigon Beloved Cuisine” to the Richmond community. This is a unique opportunity to shape the success of a cherished, decades-old brand in a new market. About the Role As the General Manager, you will be responsible for the overall success and operation of the Richmond location. You will embody the spirit of Hồng Phát, ensuring exceptional service, high-quality cuisine, and a vibrant, efficient work environment. Key Responsibilities - Operations Leadership: Oversee all daily restaurant operations, including front-of-house (FOH) and back-of-house (BOH) staff, scheduling, inventory management, and financial reporting. - Team Management: Recruit, hire, train, and develop a strong, cohesive team. Foster a positive work culture focused on teamwork, respect, and high performance. - Customer Experience: Ensure every guest receives an authentic and memorable dining experience that reflects our "Saigon Beloved Cuisine" standards. Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues with professionalism. - Financial Performance: Manage budgets, control costs (labor, food, and beverage), and drive sales to meet profitability goals. - Compliance & Safety: Maintain the highest standards of food safety, cleanliness, and operational compliance with all local health and safety regulations. Qualifications & Requirements - Proven experience (3+ years) as a General Manager or similar senior leadership role in the restaurant or hospitality industry. - Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. - Strong business acumen, including proficiency in P&L management, budgeting, and labor optimization. - Deep understanding of Vietnamese cuisine and commitment to culinary excellence is a significant asset. - Language Skills (Strong Advantages): Proficiency in Vietnamese is a significant asset.
