**General Summary.....**
Assist the supervisor in the daily management of the activities of the determined department. Including coordinating the activities of employees from different departments and replacing them as needed.
**This position will be responsible for.....**
**Shift ; Friday to Sunday 6pm to 2:30am**
- In addition to his regular duties as a warehouse attendant (level 3), coordinate the activities of employees in his sector and distribute the tasks so as to maintain an efficient and planned workload according to customer needs;
- Recommend measures to improve performance and increase efficiency while ensuring strict compliance with safety rules;
- Coordinate training and / or train employees in different tasks;
- Ensure that FedEx Supply Chain policies and procedures are followed;**You might be a great fit if.**
**Education/Experience**- Probation period successfully completed at FedEx Supply Chain;- Excellent performance and safety records in their current position (no disciplinary measures whatsoever and no problem of absenteeism;- Good knowledge of the Coteau-du-Lac distribution center (work areas, types of activities);- Previous experience of 3 to 5 years in warehouse;- Sense of initiative and organization;- Customer service oriented;- Demonstrates leadership;- Good listening and communication skills.
**Physical/Cognitive Requirements**

- Ability to follow policies and procedures.- Ability to read, write and interpret information.- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.- Ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel.- Ability to sit/walk/stand for up to 10 hours per day.- Ability to intermittently crawl, squat, climb, twist, bend, stoop, push or pull.- Must possess visual acuity, i.e., close, distance, and color vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.- Ability to lift/carry items less than 25 pounds.
