Position Summary
Cansel is looking for a dynamic and performant Shipper/Receiver to join our Team. This role will be at our location in Richmond Hill. Cansel is a unique, dynamic and fast-growing company. Our role of Shipper-receiver is key to our success and play an important role in building and maintaining excellence in our operations and client relationships.
In this role, you will...
- Process orders; primarily by telephone or through our e-commerce website, but also occasionally walk-in customers
- Perform shipping/receiving duties, such as liaising with couriers and picking / packing products for shipping and organize appropriate records in our computer database
- Coordinate service repair and rental administration
- Maintain inventory database (SAP) and keep warehouse area tidy and safe
- Perform Cycle-count Inventory on regular basis
- General branch administration and other duties as assigned or required
- Maintain knowledge and ensure compliance of safety policies and procedures
- Manage open orders, back orders and blocked orders on a regular basis
- Resolve product and service problems enhancing customer satisfaction

About you...
We are looking for an energetic individual able to work within a team environment and prefers to work with mínimal supervision. To succeed in this position, you will possess the following characteristics:

- Strong interpersonal communication, & telephone skills
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize work activities appropriately and be proactive
- Remaining calm and upbeat in a fast-paced and pressured atmosphere
- Forward-thinking, self-discipline and highly organized with ability to take initiative around the site
- Proven experience in inventory management
- Ability to foster strong workplace relationships to create a positive work environment
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic and personal commitment to get the job done
- Demonstrated knowledge of computer information systems (Office and ERP systems)
- Minimum one-year customer service, shipping and/or administrative experience
- Ability to lift 50lbs

Bonus points
- Knowledge of SAP (or other ERP)
- Experience in the Wide-format, land surveying, or civil engineering industries
- Forklift certification
- Good Customer service skills
