The Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery is looking to hire a part-time Clinical Research Coordinator to support the research activities of the Department. We are seeking a highly motivated, experienced Research Coordinator who will primarily be responsible for facilitating the conduct of clinical and epidemiologic research.

**Basic Requirements (Education/Experience)**:

- Bachelor’s degree in epidemiology, health services research, or related discipline
- 3-5 years of clinical research experience
- Communicating with the REB
- Preparing and maintaining budgets and/or timelines for funded and unfunded projects
- Data collection experience: attention to detail to ensure data accuracy and protocol compliance
- Preparing presentations, reports, abstracts, and manuscripts for peer-reviewed scientific journals
- Exceptional time management skills and ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects
- Flexibility and strong prioritization skills to accommodate periodic demanding deadlines
- Organizing and contributing to projects and meetings with the departmental researchers and their collaborators
- Outstanding organizational and communication skills to manage the many projects and priorities
- Ability to be self-directed, and to work both independently and within a multi-stakeholder environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Teams)
- Previous experience working with large databases
- Evidence of training certification in Tri-Council Policy Statement -2 (TCPS-2) and the International Conference on Harmonization - Good Clinical Practice Guidelines (ICH-GCP)
- Evidence of training in Food and Drug Regulations, Division 5, and/or Device Regulations, as applicable

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- MSc in Epidemiology or related discipline
- Knowledge of clinical epidemiology and biostatistics
- Previous research coordinator experience and writing publications (including systematic reviews)
- Grant writing experience

**Contract Details**:
This is a 1-year part-time position with the possibility of renewal

**Salary**: Min: $31.687/hr. Max: $45.690/hr.
