**Job Title**: Customer Service Sales Associate

Bishop’s Cellar has been providing world class wines to Nova Scotians since 2003. Our Customer Service Sales Team at our award winning, boutique shop provide exceptional product knowledge and excel at working in a high paced environment while providing extraordinary customer service.

As a Customer Service Sales Associate you are uniquely placed to represent the company you work for; you will be the first person a customer meets or chats with online, you will help them choose the best product for their needs, answer inquiries, and you will be responsible for providing a smooth transaction both in-store and online.

**Job Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Provides exceptional customer service from the moment the customer walks in the door until after the customer has left
- Drives sales through engagement of customers, suggestive selling, and sharing product knowledge
- Assist in receiving, preparing, and processing online curbside pick-up orders
- Responding to customer questions in person and online - in a timely manner, while following standardized procedures
- Deal with challenging situations and conflict resolution in a professional manner
- Restock shelves, ensuring merchandise is neat/fully stocked, while maintaining the store’s cleanliness
- Process customer purchases accurately and in a timely manner
- Balances cash/credit transactions at the end of shift

**Qualifications for Retail Associate**
- Enthusiastic, friendly, and energetic with a genuine desire to provide outstanding customer service
- Ability to complete detail-oriented tasks in accordance with instructions
- Desire to build customer relationships
- Ability to multitask, adapt, and thrive in challenging/changing situations.
- Effective written and oral communication skills
- Positive attitude, punctuality, and solid work ethic
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts including days, evenings, and weekends
- Ability to self-motivate and thrive in a team environment
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Able to lift and carry boxes of merchandise weighing up to 40 lbs.
- Thirst for knowledge and a passion for wine + food
- Previous wine, beer, and spirits education (an asset, not a requirement)

**Salary**: From $18.00 per hour
