**Responsibilities**
- Supervise and manage kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
- Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to ensure high-quality dishes are served consistently.
- Develop and design menu items that reflect current trends and customer preferences.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures.
- Maintain inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, placing orders as necessary.
- Train new kitchen staff on cooking techniques, food safety practices, and restaurant policies.
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service during peak hours.
- Monitor kitchen operations for efficiency, cleanliness, and adherence to health standards.
- Handle any customer complaints or feedback regarding food quality or service promptly and professionally.
**Qualifications**
- Proven experience in a culinary role within the food industry, preferably in a restaurant setting.
- Strong supervisory skills with experience in team management and leadership.
- Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and menu development.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with team members and customers.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A passion for hospitality and creating memorable dining experiences for guests.
