Tired of working indoors in a stuffy hotel or restaurant? The Redwoods Golf Course is hiring for the position of **Supervisor, Food and Beverage**
The **Supervisor, Food and Beverage** assists in managing our seasonal restaurant and golf course food and beverage operations, which are open from April
- December each year, but will also help to lead our banquet team through a busy season full of weddings, golf tournaments, and banquets
**This is a full-time, year-round position.** The ideal applicant has both restaurant managerial experience as well as banquet experience. Priority will be given to those who have knowledge of the game of golf. Due to the nature of the industry, this position does involve weekend, evening and holiday shifts, and therefore having a flexible schedule is a requirement.

This full-time, year-round position begins immediately and includes:
- _Salary based on experience: $58,000 - $65,000 per year_

**Please note**: Redwoods is a tip and gratuity-free facility. There are no tips or gratuities in addition to the posted wage.
**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- _Assist in managing and overseeing all daily operations of the front-of-house food and beverage outlets including the restaurant, banquets, concession and beverage cart_
- _Schedule, coordinate, and supervise staff across the entire front-of-house F&B department_
- _Maintain a high level of guest satisfaction through role modeling and training_
- _Assist in the ongoing recruitment and training of staff_
- _Assist in processing department timesheets and coding hours_
- _Review and execute Banquet Event Orders_
- _Ensure standards for facility cleanliness are met_
- _Ensure food quality, presentation and timeliness standards are met_
- _Ensure cashouts and cash drops are completed accurately_
- _Promote a positive work environment and culture by maintaining strong and supportive relationships with all team members_
- _Motivate team members to strive for exceptional customer service_
- _Other duties as assigned_

**QUALIFICATIONS & ASSETS**
- _Minimum three years of food and beverage experience in a similar facility or environment_
- _Minimum two years of supervisory experience in a similar facility or environment_
- _Willingness to complete a Police Information Check_
- _Valid First Aid Level 1, CPR and AED Certification, or equivalent will be required to be maintained during employment_
- _Valid Class 5 Driver's License and willingness to provide a Driver's Abstract required_
- _Completion of post-secondary education in a discipline such as event management, business administration or other related disciplines is an asset_
- Operated by Ten Feet Sports and Entertainment, the Redwoods Golf Course has been serving locals and guests since 1994. Redwoods is situated in North Langley just off of Highway #1 and minutes from the Golden Ears Bridge._
