Maintenance Attendant

In compliance with health and safety rules, the Maintenance Attendant carries out various work related to the upkeep and maintenance of the building. This may include, among other things, painting work, plastering, ceramic installation, small carpentry work, changing lights or taps, various installations, etc.

**:
As part of his/her duties, he/she may be required to move furniture or lift heavy loads.

**ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Assist the rental department during visits to vacant premises
- Carry out inspections of the building and draw up a list of fixes to be carried out
- Carry out plastering and painting work in the building as well as minor repairs
- Clean and tidy machine, mechanical, electrical and workshop rooms
- Clean up vacant premises when a tenant leaves (dispose of discarded objects and furniture)
- Ensure basic maintenance and proper functioning of various systems such as electricity, heating, plumbing, piping, air conditioning, ventilation, compressor
- Minor plumbing repairs (flush valve, faucet cartridge, etc.)
- Response to water damage
- Support contractors and inspectors during work

**EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Have a minimum of one (1) year of experience in a similar job
- DEP in carpentry-joinery, real estate maintenance and/or any other and/or related training
