**Job Description**:
SCHEDULE: This position is 1st shift, working Monday-Friday 5:45am-2pm

SUMMARY:
Performs the physical or administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing and distributing of materials, parts, supplies and equipment. Unpacks and checks goods received against purchase orders or invoices, maintains records of received goods and rejects unsatisfactory items. Lifts heavy items and may operate a forklift. Prepares and maintains records of merchandise shipped. Posts weights and shipping charges and prepares goods for final shipment. Examines, stocks and distributes materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines. May prepare kitting packages for assembly production.

RESPONSIBLITIES and ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Performs data entry, discrepancy trouble shooting, checking stock locations, fixing issues, helping run the yearly physical inventory along with other projects and manages daily cycle counts.- Assist with the implementation and execution of FIFO is followed;- Flexibility and adaptability to assume other roles and support other job families as required.- May be required to assist, instruct and provide training to other employees.- Participates in activities to increase job knowledge, including required training and certifications, job rotation programs and training and coaching of other employees.- Participate in Behavioural Based Safety Training and contribute to the program.- Participate in LEAN/Six Sigma Training and contribute to and make recommendations for process improvements and LEAN activities.- Performs work in accordance with job-specific training procedures, follows work aids (DWIs, prints etc.,) and produces work that consistently meets quality standards.- Ensure tasks are conducted in accordance with applicable employment, environmental, health, safety, quality, and legislation and or regulations (federal, provincial, ISO 14001, ISO 9001, etc.), as well as Rockwell Automation values, ethics, policies and procedures, 5S requirements and standards of business conduct.- Creates an optimal work environment by establishing and maintaining positive and respectful work relationships.- All other duties as required and assigned by supervision.

SKILLS:
- Valid Lift Truck License preferred (Minimum experience with Tow Motor - Reach Truck Operations, Powered Pump Trucks (desired) and BT Basket);- Effective organization, prioritization and problem-solving skills- Strong interpersonal and communication skills- Reading and understanding written instructions, i.e., Cambridge Specific Procedures (CSPs) and Documented Work Instructions (DWIs)- Utilizing a computer to view, log, and/or find appropriate job-related information, i.e., SAP, FTPC- Safe use of manual tools, power tools, machinery, devices and material handling equipment.- Demonstrate proficiency of assigned tasks, duties, and responsibilities required to achieve customer satisfaction, including but not limited to SAP, Factory Talk and Kronos.

EXPERIENCE and EDUCATION:
- Level 4: 4 Years Related Experience, High School Education/GED

PREREQUISITES:
- Able to perform the duties and responsibilities of a Material Handler Level 2P.- Successful completion of knowledge assessment test administered in-house.
