**Position Title**:National Account Manager**
**Location**:Brampton, ON**
**Reports to**:Director, Sales**
**Position Overview**:
The National Account Manager (NAM) is responsible for developing, executing, and fostering a full omni collaborative business partnership between Newell Brands and assigned customers that delivers the volumes, share and profit objectives for the Company. This role will build, manage, and execute Joint Business Plans with the customer and gain internal alignment from cross functional partners. Set and achieve stretch core distribution targets and objectives of Newell Brands products to align with the customers go to market strategy. Execute consumer and shopper driven strategies that enable Newell Brands to achieve best in class results. Monitor competitor brands/products, Utilize data, information systems, and metrics around financial, brand, and shopper trends to maximize market share, sales, and profits through price optimization for Newell Brands and our customers. Build customer relationships at multiple levels and facilitate connectivity in other functional areas including Marketing, Supply Chain, Communications and Operations.
**Key responsibilities**:
- Deliver key sales, supply chain and profitability targets
- Develop, build and improve customer relationships with Buyer/Leadership including all cross functional departments to deliver mutual KPIs (Channel/customer Share & Profitability)
- Manages line review presentations/sell-ins, annual trade, budgeting, planning and development of sales plans at retailer from creation to execution.
- Develop/customize category plan-based selling stories regarding assortment, new items, pricing, promotions, display/merchandising tactics and plans that align with customer/Newell objectives
- Executes brand strategies and marketing plans that will drive consumer engagement, influence shopper behavior and stimulate demand across in store and ecommerce platforms
- Use data, information systems, and metrics around financial, brand, and shopper trends to maximize market share, sales, and profits.

**Qualifications**:
- Bachelors/University degree in Business Administration (strongly preferred)
- 7+ years sales and/or trade experience
- Selling experience within consumer products, preferably across multiple brands and customers
- Experience developing and managing budgets
- Experience managing and / or influencing others
- Experience with a minimum National Account book of business
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Some Travel required depending on Customer location/Annual Sales Meeting
