**Manager, Marketing and Communications**
The Manager will be responsible for developing a yearly marketing plan and executing the plan using Blue Door’s social media, website, e-newsletter, annual report, media outreach, fundraising campaigns, and On The Way Home podcast. The Manager must be highly organized, fast-paced, creative, possess strong verbal and written communication skills, and be skilled in relationship management.
**What does Manager of Marketing and Communications do?**
- Develop annual marketing and communication plans in line with Blue Door’s mission and vision.
- Set KPIs, monitor trends, and use data to guide marketing strategies.
- Maintain brand consistency across all materials and update brand guidelines.
- Manage social media presence, including follower growth and engagement.
- Create and distribute marketing materials, like brochures and annual reports.
- Support fundraising campaigns with communication plans and materials.
- Write media content, send releases, and build media relationships.
- Identify podcast guests, write episode descriptions, and promote harm reduction practices.
**What you bring to the table**
- 5+ years experience in multiple areas of marketing and communications, including media, brand management, advocacy, and campaign management.
- Post-secondary education in marketing, public relations, journalism, or a related field.
- Experience developing and implementing successful marketing campaigns and proficient in social media use (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn).
- Experience with various marketing platforms and tools including Sprout Social, Meta Business Suite, Constant Contact, Google Analytics, Canva, and WordPress is an asset.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office skills including PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and Excel and excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Sound judgment, tact, and ability to maintain confidentiality and ability to deal with extremely confidential and sensitive information.
**Salary information: $60,000 - $65,000**
