Position function: Reporting to the Pricing Supervisor of Caldic Canada Inc., the incumbent will be responsible to process daily price quote requests, missing prices on sales orders for both Canada and the USA.

Scope: The Pricing Analyst will support the Commercial Team with the implementation of accurate and appropriate pricing functionality at Caldic. The position will execute several processes and procedures to facilitate the interaction between Pricing, Sales, R&D, Operations and Customer Service teams with the common objective of servicing our customers with timely and competitive prices.
Major tasks and duties:

- Process and complete price quote requests for existing and new resale products and blends on a daily basis; authority to provide pricing letter for margin values less than $5000
- Responsible for TA entry ( Trade agreement) in the system as requested by CDM/BTD
- Maintain and update Price Book for both Canada and USA
- Generate weekly pending quote report and send it to Sales/Procurement
- Review Zero Price Cue and enter prices in order for Sales Order to be processed
- Provide transfer pricing for food ingredients being sent to Caldic USA
- Support Supervisor of Strategic initiatives with pricing of product and labour for custom packaging product
- Support sales team by providing on the spot pricing
- Reviewing change control requests from Regulatory department and make necessary changes to TA’s
- Partner with Procurement team as requested to determine pricing of new products and ingredients
- Calculate additional pricing factors such as labour, overhead, packaging, testing and freight as required
- Support the CDM’s and BTD’s with ad-hoc analysis and reports as requested
- Cross function coverage as needed
- Complete all other duties as assigned by the Pricing Supervisor
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, GMP’s and HACCP requirements

**KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE**:

- Requires a university degree in business, finance or economics
- Process oriented, and analytical mind set with excellent interpersonal skills
- Experience within the food manufacturing and distribution industry preferred
- Knowledge of administrative procedures. Must be able to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, and follow through on issues in a timely manner.
- Must be able to identify problems and implement corrective actions
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to function with a high sense urgency
- Strong knowledge of MS Office, specifically Excel

**Salary**: $50,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
