**The Role**

As a Contracts Administrator at Versaterm Public Safety, you will play a pivotal role in managing various aspects of our contracts and legal processes. Reporting to the legal team, you will be responsible for assisting with contract administration, insurance certificate requests, and supporting the legal team in various capacities. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

**Key Accountabilities**
- Managing and organizing contract and legal queries.
- Providing administrative support and operations for the department digital file organization/ contract lifecycle management tool (“CLM”).
- Supporting the implementation of the new CLM.
- Maintaining continuously the CLM.
- Supporting the different stakeholder in navigating company approvals.
- Creating and maintaining a comprehensive master list of contracts and agreements, inclusive of renewal dates, termination clauses, and other pertinent information.
- Supporting the legal team with record retention efforts.
- Administering wet ink signatures and electronic signatures as well as acting as primary point of contact for all contract execution.
- Overseeing workflow and ensure high level of due diligence is conducted on every contract (correct spelling of names, signatories, etc.).
- Assisting the legal team in automating workflows and processes.
- Assisting the legal team with special projects and other company initiatives as needed.

**Skills/Qualifications**
- Either an Undergraduate degree in business administration, legal studies or completion of a related post-secondary education program or a paralegal or law clerk with at least two years of experience, and/or legal administration diploma;
- At least two years of experience working in contracts administration capacity or legal office setting;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an ability to clearly explain legal terms to cross-functional teams within the organization;
- Strong organizational and time management skills with flexibility to adapt to changing priorities;
- Ability to meet critical deadlines and establish and maintain working relationships with internal and external stakeholders;
- Great attention to detail; and
- Computer skills, including experience with Microsoft office, DocuSign and Salesforce, or an openness to learning new programs.
