The purpose of the role is to oversee daily and overall operations and functions of cashier/ customer service department. This is a full-time position.

**Responsibilities**
- Hiring cashiers and creating/maintaining monthly scheduling
- Training and development of new cashier hires
- Overseeing returns and customer service issues
- Providing cashiers with change as requested
- Maintaining stock and supply levels at each cashier station
- Overseeing the general front of store check out area
- Communicating with management and office staff
- Listening to customer complaints and diffusing escalations
- Completing price checks
- Maintaining an efficient customer flow; ensuring there are enough cashiers to avoid lines
- Ensuring cashiers have complete knowledge of all store policies
- Maintaining a positive work environment among staff

**Qualifications**
- Able to read and write in English
- Accurate with attention to detail
- Able to multitask
- Positive attitude with leadership abilities
- Able to manage multiple staff with competing personalities
- Trustworthy and able to take direction
- Able to stay focused
- Previous supervisory experience is an asset

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
