We’re looking for an ambitious and driven Business Development Representative to support our Canadian and US sales activities. Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, you will drive and accelerate pipeline growth through self generated leads. This position is the starting point to many growth opportunities within Felix. With experience and proven success, you can quickly advance your career in business development.

This is a full-time position in Canada, and you must be available to work during normal business hours dependent on time zones.

**Role Responsibilities**
- Proactively identify and seek new business opportunities in the North American market by leveraging both inbound leads and through pro-active and creative outbound prospecting.
- Aim to understand the needs, goals, and challenges of each lead to best align them with the appropriate solution, resources, or internal teams for follow-up.
- Continually follow-up with and monitor passed leads, to ensure a consistent customer experience and momentum with follow-up time.
- Document and track all lead information and activities in the CRM, Zoho.
- Facilitate the transfer of qualified leads to the Sales Development Specialists who can easily manage their pipeline and opportunities moved through the sales cycle.

**Requirements & Skills**
- At least 2 years’ sales experience in SaaS or B2B Business.
- Excellent communication with the ability to effectively convey the value proposition to clients and stakeholders.
- Results oriented, consistently meeting or exceeding targets, demonstrating high performance, and challenging self and others to deliver results.
- Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with prospecting tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator and Apollo.
- Experience using CRM software (e.g., Zoho, Salesforce, Hubdoc or similar).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
- Fluent in English. French or Spanish would be an asset.
