**Summary**
Assists in the maintenance of the Quality function to ensure satisfaction to both internal and external customers by performing the following listed essential duties and responsibilities.
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities **include the following:
- Assist with the development of documented Quality Department processes in compliance with requirements of ISO/AS; assist with the process of accreditation to the ISO/AS standard(s) at the direction of the Quality Manager.
- Assist in preparing customer PPAP documentation, inspection plans, revalidations and/or other customer-specific submission requirements.
- Reviews inspection reports for completeness and accuracy and for test characteristics such as strength, hardness, and quality of products.
- Prepare and supply quality documents as requested or required for outgoing orders and/or requests for information.
- In support and under the direction of the Quality Manager, devise sampling procedures, inspection plans, and control plans in compliance with customer requirements and ensure proper documentation of all pertinent product quality data as required.
- Update and maintain the gage calibration system.
- Coordination of return of product to vendors and follow up actions where required.
- Assist in receipt and processing of customer returns including coordination or disposition of returns after completion of processing.
- Assist in investigation/audit of customer complaints, non-conforming product, internal and external corrective actions, and coordinating customer and vendor responses as required.
- Update and maintain quality related documents, including filing.
- Assist with the development of training material and assist with training sessions on quality concepts and activities.
- Other duties or Quality system special projects as assigned.

**Education and/or Experience**
Associate Degree or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Quality courses or CQT or CQE Certification is preferred, but not required.
**Language Skills**
Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write reports & business correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, employees of the organization, and the general public.
**Mathematical Skills**
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate and percent. Ability to draw and interpret bar graphs.

- Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

- Company Specific Programs
**Other Skills and Abilities**
- Bolt Gauge Knowledge.

- Read and interpret blueprints including geometric dimensioning and tolerance.
