  • ​Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm

  • Pay: $60, $80,000.00 CAD annually, DOE

  • Location: Hybrid - at least two days on-site weekly (Woodbridge, ON.)

Pfaff Leasing Quality Control Analyst II

Quality Control Analyst II plays a critical role in ensuring that Pfaff Leasing's operations meet internal standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices. This role supports the organization's compliance and risk management framework, with a focus on quality assurance, anti-financial crime controls, and continuous process improvement. Operating independently, the Analyst will identify issues, recommend solutions, and escalate concerns when necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct scheduled quality reviews of departmental processes, procedures, and workflows in accordance with the policies and procedures.
  • Identify, document, and report non-conformities and deviations from policy or regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with department managers to test and validate corrective actions, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  • Recommend enhancements or additional controls to strengthen operational integrity.
  • Support the development, implementation, and testing of the regulatory compliance program across the organization.
  • Assist in preparing training materials and delivering sessions on AML/ATF/KYC/EDD topics relevant to the auto financing and leasing sector.
  • Contribute to regulatory reporting and internal compliance updates for senior management and external agencies.
  • Perform risk assessments, monitoring, and surveillance activities to ensure controls are proportionate to identified risks.
  • Conduct transaction monitoring, customer risk rating, and name screening; provide advisory support to business units on risk mitigation.
  • Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) for new systems and applications.
  • Stay current with regulatory changes and assess their impact on business operations.
  • Take ownership of assigned tasks, escalate issues appropriately, and follow through on remediation efforts.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance, Compliance, or Audit (preferably in financial services).
  • Strong understanding of Canadian AML/ATF regulations and FINTRAC reporting obligations.
  • Proven ability to implement process improvements and drive operational efficiency.
  • Experience in cross-border communication and collaboration (Canada and USA).
  • Skilled in developing and delivering compliance training programs.
  • CAMS certification or equivalent experience with a FINTRAC reporting entity is preferred.
