Room Supervisor

**GENERAL SUMMARY**:
As a Room Supervisor at AC Hotels by Marriott, you will play a key role in overseeing the cleanliness, organization, and presentation of guest rooms while ensuring a seamless and refined guest experience. You will supervise and support the housekeeping team, ensuring that rooms meet the brand’s high standards of European-inspired elegance. Your attention to detail and leadership will contribute to maintaining a welcoming and sophisticated atmosphere for guests.

**CANDIDATE PROFILE**:
**Education and Experience**
- High school graduation or equivalent required.
- Previous housekeeping experience in a hotel setting preferred.
- Strong understanding of cleaning procedures, sanitation protocols, and housekeeping standards.
- Experience in supervising or training housekeeping staff is an asset.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

**Preferred**:

- Ability and willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
- Familiarity with Marriott brand standards and housekeeping management systems.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Bilingual capabilities (English and French) are an asset.

**Physical Requirements**:

- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, up to 8 hours per shift.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and push/pull housekeeping carts.
- Requires bending, reaching, kneeling, and repetitive motions.
- Ability to work in various environmental conditions, including exposure to cleaning chemicals.

**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:
**Room Inspection & Quality Control**:

- Conduct daily inspections of guest rooms to ensure cleanliness, organization, and brand presentation standards are met.
- Provide feedback and guidance to housekeeping staff to maintain consistent service quality.
- Ensure all guest amenities, linens, and supplies are replenished according to hotel standards.

**Team Supervision and Support**:

- Assign tasks and oversee the performance of room attendants.
- Assist in training and mentoring housekeeping team members to uphold AC Hotels’ high service standards.
- Motivate staff and foster a culture of teamwork, efficiency, and professionalism.

**Guest Service**:

- Address guest requests, complaints, and special accommodations with professionalism and efficiency.
- Coordinate with the front desk to ensure room readiness for arriving guests.
- Uphold AC Hotels' service philosophy by creating a seamless and memorable guest experience.

**Inventory & Supplies Management**:

- Monitor housekeeping supplies and linen inventory to ensure adequate stock levels.
- Report any missing or damaged items and coordinate with the Assistant Housekeeper for replenishment.
- Ensure proper use and storage of cleaning supplies and equipment.

**Safety and Compliance**:

- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
- Maintain proper handling and usage of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Report any maintenance or security concerns to the appropriate department.

**Team Collaboration**:

- Actively participate in daily housekeeping meetings and training sessions.
- Work closely with the Executive Housekeeper and hotel management to uphold operational excellence.
- Support other departments as needed to ensure a seamless guest experience.
- Practice the AC Brand Elevation mantras in your daily delivery approach with guests and AC family members.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $55,000.00 per year
