**Position Summary & General Purpose**
To work with the Executive Housekeeper & Assistant Executive Housekeeper to achieve a motivated, organized and empowered Housekeeping Team to provide the level of service and to contribute to the overall profitability of the property; professional work standards and guest care set down in the Standards and Procedures Manual and as defined in Brand Training. To supervise housekeeping staff to ensure that they are adhering to all hotel policies, procedures, regulations and standards, while striving towards total guest satisfaction. To ensure that Housekeeping operations is working in a professional manner at all times. To assist the Executive Housekeeper & Assistant Executive Housekeeper, in all areas to ensure a correct and smoothly operating department.
To contribute to the consistency of departmental standards by systematic checking of rooms achieving standards laid down in the Standards & Procedures Manual. To carry out the duties of a Room Attendant or Laundry Attendant following procedures required by property and company policy.

**Overall Duties**
- Personally demonstrating a commitment to guest service in responding promptly to guest’s needs / complaints;
- Motivate staff to deliver exceptional service by encouraging and rewarding employees
- Maintaining Guest Service as the driving philosophy of the hotel;
- Bring urgent matters to the attention of the Executive Housekeeper/Assistant Executive Housekeeper
- Attend meetings as requested and to recognize the importance to contributing new ideas and initiative to the overall success of the operation;
- Maintain a professional and effective working relationship with all departments to ensure that all departments are informed of any potential problems or situations;
- Work and communicate in a professional and ethical manner with colleagues and assisting where necessary to achieve standards;
- Delegate/supervise work during the working shift to maximize productivity and guest care;
- Contribute to the overall security of the Hotel by recognizing and correcting potential security problems;
- Make independent decisions to solve problems that arise.
- Learn & use Fosse Property Management System
- Maintain the hotel to the highest cleanliness standards
- Conduct MOD room inspections as required
- Address and resolve complaints from guests in a timely & professional manner
- Responsible for training of employees
- To generate team commitment to achievement of company, property and department mission statements
- To ensure adherence to the emergency plan as required by company policy
- Contribute to the security of the building, company assets and guests/co-workers safety, adhering to procedures regarding handling room keys
- Adhere and enforce all matters relating to the company’s Code of Conduct, Health & Safety policies, Provincial Legislations, Emergency Procedures, Brand Philosophies/Standards/Training
- Maintain standards of punctuality, uniform, name tags, personal hygiene and overall appropriate dress code
- Regularly conduct Building and grounds inspections
- Maintain and log inventory of Housekeeping supplies
- Ensure proper distribution of housekeeping supplies in conjunction with inventory protocols
- Maintain Deep cleaning scheduling (quarterly) as per Brand Standards
- Adhere to all Lost & Found protocols
1. To check guest rooms and designated housekeeping areas achieving standards of cleanliness and presentation as laid down in the Standard & Procedures Manual.
2. To establish a good working relationship with room attendants in order to ensure positive response to corrective points in line with the Standards & Procedures Manual.
3. To maintain good working relationships with all co-workers in all departments.
4. Have the ability and flexibility to co-operate or assist with opening or closing Housekeeping operations in the absence of the Executive Housekeeper/Assistant Executive Housekeeper
5. To ensure the accurate completion of housekeeping forms/reports following procedures required by property and company policy.
6. To ensure fair delegation of work and safe/controlled issue of cleaning materials and supplies in the absence of the Executive Housekeeper/Assistant Executive Housekeeper
7. To assist with inventory controls following procedures laid down by company policy.
8. To liaise with Guest Services and Maintenance regarding “ready” rooms in order to achieve guest satisfaction.
9. To carry out the duties of a room attendant or laundry attendant as required by business demands and achieving standards laid down in the Standards & Procedures Manual.
10. To respond to special requests, VIP rooms achieving standards required by property policy.
